“Everything for Germany” was used by the SA during the Nazi era and is therefore banned. Now a Passau AfD candidate has used the slogan on a poster. The police removed the election advertising.
The police put up posters in Passau with a banned SA slogan. According to the officials, these are AfD posters with the phrase “Everything for Germany” on them. According to the Bavarian Information Center against Extremism, the banned slogan is a slogan of the SA, the storm department of the NSDAP, the use of which is punishable by law. The criminal police were called in, it was said.
“It has no place in the AfD”
The state chairman of the AfD in Bavaria, Stephan Protschka, said the posters had not been approved by the state association and probably came from a local district council candidate. Protschka immediately called the district association chief and demanded that the posters be removed. “Something like that has no place in the AfD,” said Protschka.
You don’t have to put everything on the scales. “But there are certain sayings that are simply not used – and ‘Everything for Germany’ is one of them.”
