Friedrich Merz would like to be a strong CDU leader. It’s just stupid that his own prime ministers won’t let him.
Some sentences are timelessly relevant, such as this one: Friedrich Merz is being criticized. Somehow it always fits. It’s nice when you can rely on good friends. It’s bad if you don’t have it. The party chairman should not rely on the CDU’s six prime ministers. When it comes to the answers to many substantive questions, the sovereigns are at odds with the king: How business-oriented, Western or male-oriented should the party be? What is the visual appearance? How do you feel about the AfD? And last but not least: Who should actually lead the Union in the 2025 election campaign as candidate for chancellor? Many minds, even more opinions.
