A reporter and a photographer star were threatened by Israeli soldiers last Friday while conducting research in the West Bank. Other media had previously reported similar actions against their journalists on site. Reporter Marina Klimchuk had been accompanying Palestinian farmers harvesting olives south of the city of Hebron when Israeli soldiers from the nearby settlement of Abigail surrounded them. Two Israeli peace activists and a Palestinian farmer were detained and their cell phones destroyed.
