Mr. Klingbeil, how do you actually get along with Christian Lindner, the FDP leader?
Very good. He hasn’t congratulated me yet on the fact that my club had just won against his 4-0, i.e. Bayern against Dortmund. But otherwise we get along.
Are you on a first name basis?
Yes. We talk a lot and have a good personal connection. That doesn’t mean we agree everywhere. We are leaders of two different parties.
And then you said to him recently: Dear Christian, it was nice – but are we now planning the future without you?
No. We still have a lot to do at the traffic lights. Why?
