If you believe the decisions that have already been leaked, there will be extensive contact restrictions for unvaccinated people, as well as the preparation of a general vaccination requirement, for example for staff in certain facilities such as nursing homes. According to the resolution passed by several media, the following measures, among others, are being discussed:

  • Contact restrictions for unvaccinated people. Except for children up to 14 years of age. This does not apply to those who have been vaccinated or who have recovered.
  • Mask requirement in schools for all grade levels.
  • Restriction of major events: for example, football matches are subject to an upper limit of 30 percent of the occupancy rate or 10,000 spectators. The 2G or the 2Gplus rule apply.
  • Bars and clubs in hotspots will be closed at an incidence of 350 or more.
  • The federal-state crisis team is to coordinate vaccinations and vaccine distribution.
  • Compulsory vaccination for employees in retirement and nursing homes.
  • The Bundestag should decide on the general compulsory vaccination.
