Attackers killed eleven police officers in an attack on a police headquarters in the southern Iranian city of Rask. Seven others were injured in the nighttime attack, reported the Tasnim news agency, which is considered the mouthpiece of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. Several attackers were also killed.
According to the report, the crime took place in the province of Sistan and Balochistan. The Sunni separatist group Jaish al-Adl claimed responsibility for the attack, as Tasnim further reported.
