Against special rights for Telegram
The Society for Freedom Rights also deals with hatred and agitation on the Internet, and calls for clear prosecution: “We propose a constitutional process with which accounts can be blocked either temporarily – so to speak as a red card – or permanently, if These accounts put criminal statements online “, said Buermeyer in the podcast. It is particularly important to him that it is not Facebook, Twitter or Telegram who decide which account is blocked, but that this is done in a process by a judge. That is why Buermeyer is particularly annoyed by the Telegram messenger service, which to this day defies German legislation: “It simply cannot be that a certain network is of the general opinion that legal requirements do not apply.”
