In Zurich, Switzerland, an Orthodox Jew was critically injured in an attack with a stabbing weapon on the street on Saturday evening.
Police arrested a 15-year-old suspect, they said. “The ongoing investigations by the Zurich cantonal police and the responsible youth prosecutor’s office are going in all directions and explicitly include the possibility of an anti-Semitic crime,” the police said.
The person attacked is a 50-year-old man. The background and the course of events are initially unclear. The police asked any witnesses to come forward.
