After the raid on six members of a Telegram chat group because of death threats against Saxony’s Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (CDU), the first interrogations have been completed.
A spokesman for the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) Sachsen Morgen could not say whether the accused provided information. The interviews would continue and the evidence seized would be evaluated. “We will then see if there is any follow-up.” According to him, the group called “Dresden Offline Networking” has over 100 members.
Around 140 officials yesterday searched the apartments of five men between 32 and 64 years and a 34-year-old in Dresden as well as another property in Heidenau (Saxon Switzerland). Three crossbows, weapons and weapon parts were also found, and cell phones, computers and storage media were seized. The searches lasted until late afternoon.
