The State Duma Council decided to conduct an official investigation into the circumstances of the adoption of the law on the use of distance learning only those online resources that have passed state verification. This was announced on Friday, December 17, by the chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
The Duma Council approved the creation of a “conciliation commission” and an investigation into “the circumstances surrounding the adoption of the law,” Volodin said.
“Based on the results of this investigation, we will draw conclusions,” he stressed.
It is clarified that representatives of the government of the Russian Federation have been invited to participate in conciliation procedures, the commission includes deputies Alexander Khinshtein, Pyotr Tolstoy and the head of the chamber’s committee on education Olga Kazakova.
On the eve of the senators proposed to the State Duma to create a conciliation commission to finalize this law.
Earlier, on December 15, the upper house of the Russian parliament rejected the bill. The changes that the State Duma proposed to introduce into the legislation “contain a technical error, the presence of which leads to an internal contradiction in the specified article of the basic federal law.” In this regard, problems may arise in law enforcement practice, since in a number of programs of higher and secondary vocational education, the use of distance technologies is “not allowed in principle”.
The law, which the State Duma adopted on December 8, will apply to primary, basic, secondary and secondary vocational education.
At the same time, the regional authorities will be able to provide financial assistance in the field of free training for the professions of employees and workers under the programs of vocational and secondary general education.
In November, it was reported that the Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) began to develop electronic school textbooks using virtual and augmented reality technology.
