But for some reason, just now, NATO generals decided to rattle their weapons. We responded with an ultimatum – either back it up, or there will be countermeasures, ”the expert noted.
Bashirov stressed that at the moment all the main decisions are made in the United States and wondered how capable US President Joe Biden is now and whether he can manage the military.
He also recalled that NATO continues to supply weapons to Ukraine, and a year ago the alliance wanted to seize the “Belarusian balcony”.
“If NATO refuses and Biden cannot figure out what’s what, then radars in Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania can count down potential minutes before the targeted missiles arrive. And what? We, in Moscow, are already in sight, too, ”the political scientist concluded.
On December 17, the Russian Foreign Ministry published draft agreements between Russia and the United States and NATO on security guarantees, which have already been transferred to Washington and its allies. As follows from the documents, in particular, the alliance should refuse to conduct any military activity on the territory of Ukraine and other states of Eastern Europe, Transcaucasia and Central Asia.
On the same day, a member of the Federation Council Alexei Pushkov said that the appearance of NATO on the border of Ukraine is a clear sign that the alliance is planning a war with Russia.
