Amit Soussana was kidnapped from her home by Hamas to Gaza on October 7 and held hostage there. Months after her liberation, she is the first female hostage to speak openly and in detail about what was done to her.
On October 7, 2023, thousands of Hamas terrorists stormed the Israeli border fortifications and attacked the neighboring Israeli settlements. The attackers kill more than 1,100 people and kidnap around 250 more people as hostages in the Gaza Strip. Amit Soussana was one of them.
She was in the hands of Hamas for almost two months before she was released in a hostage exchange on November 30. It’s the story of a woman who doesn’t want to remain silent about what was done to her.
