Seven aid workers from Australia, Great Britain and Poland, as well as a man with US-Canadian citizenship and a Palestinian, killed during the humanitarian mission. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called his army’s attack an unintentional “tragic incident.” The aid organization World Central Kitchen under star chef José Andrés described it as unforgivable.
