Mölling was pessimistic about the prospects for lasting peace. “How do conflicts end? How do I bring peace so that societies can live together again?” he asked. And said about the consequences of Hamas terror and the Gaza war: “This conflict will be carried into the next generation. It will now burn again for 70 years.”
All sides would try to highlight their own suffering. “This is a very effectively conducted information war,” said Mölling.
