Peter Pilz accounts for the “Kurz Regime”

Even after leaving politics, Peter Pilz remains loyal to himself as an opposition politician. The ex-Greens and later party founder wrote a book about Chancellor Sebastian Kurz (VP). His thesis: Kurz is working on seriously damaging the foundations of the rule of law and democracy.

The book is a collection of well-known things. Again it is listed who is Kurz ?? Are loyal and how the takeover was planned. Networks around Section Head Christian Pilnacek in the judiciary or in the police force are presented; only the business and corruption prosecutor’s office is praised as incorruptible. The short oligarchs are also portrayed: from René Benko to Siegfried Wolf. There are also chats that have become public in the course of the Ibiza-U-Committee.

Pilz, the longtime uncoverer in parliament, pursues his passion to point out connections, but also to blow things up. Those interested in politics will not find much that is new. The organization chart of the Kurz network at the end contributes little to the clarity. At least mushroom fans and short critics will enjoy the book.

“In short. A regime”: By Peter Pilz, published by Kremayr-Scheriau, 256 pages, hardcover, price: 24 euros.
