The Russian government is acting clearly, the economy has recovered, unemployment is declining. This was announced on Friday, December 24, by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with members of the Cabinet of Ministers via video link.
“I understand and see what a heavy additional burden lies on all of you. You cope with it, you act clearly, unitedly, like a good professional team, ”the head of state said.
On the eve of the annual press conference, Putin noted that one of the drivers of the country’s growth is the development of infrastructure. As the president noted, more than 500 billion rubles will be allocated specifically for the development of infrastructure.
He also drew attention to the fact that currently in Russia the unemployment rate is lower than before the coronavirus pandemic. According to the Russian leader, the pre-pandemic unemployment rate in the Russian Federation was 4.5-4.6%. Currently, it is recorded at the level of 4.3-4.4%.
On December 7, Putin announced that Russia’s economic dynamics are generally positive. He explained that according to the results of ten months of this year, GDP grew by 4.6%.
