According to the latest poll, BSW is only just behind the Greens

The Greens have again lost support among the population in a survey and are now only slightly ahead of the BSW. The AfD, on the other hand, has made slight gains.

According to a survey, the Union remains the strongest force in terms of voter approval. This is the result of a survey conducted by the opinion research institute Insa on behalf of “Bild am Sonntag”. It is at 30 percent, as in the previous week. That is twice as much as for the Chancellor’s party SPD, which is at 15 percent, as in the previous week. The FDP loses one point and is at five percent. Together, only 31 percent would vote for one of the three traffic light parties.

Wagenknecht’s BSW just behind the Greens

The AfD can gain one point, reaching 18 percent again. The Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) is only two percentage points behind the Greens in the polls. They lost one percentage point this week and reached eleven percent. The BSW, on the other hand, remains stable, receiving nine percent, as in the previous week. The Left Party is at two percent, as in the previous week. The other parties could receive ten percent (plus one percent) of the vote.

Insa managing director Hermann Binkert: “Twelve percent of the votes go to parties that fail to clear the five percent hurdle.” This means that there are parliamentary majorities of more than 44 percent. “That is why there is still enough for a black-red coalition of the CDU/CSU and SPD with a total of 45 percent and for a Jamaica coalition of the CDU/CSU, Greens and FDP with a total of 46 percent.”

The polling institute Insa surveyed 1,204 randomly selected voters from July 1 to 5. The maximum margin of error is given as plus/minus 2.9 percentage points.
