The head of the Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth faction, State Duma deputy Sergei Mironov said on January 4 that he was negotiating with the leaders of some non-parliamentary parties on the issue of unification.

“We are certainly committed to further unification process and are open for negotiations. I have met with the leaders of some non-parliamentary parties. I will not name the personalities yet, but negotiations are underway, “TASS quotes him as saying.

However, the head of the faction said that all specific decisions will be discussed “on the eve of the next election campaign.”

In February 2021, the A Just Russia party, during a congress meeting with the For Truth and Patriots of Russia parties, decided to rename. The creation of a new united socialist political party “Fair Russia – Patriots – For Truth” was announced. Then Mironov noted that “a long, but absolutely positive process of unification of all left-wing patriotic forces in Russia is beginning.”

The leaders of the parties “Fair Russia”, “For Truth” and “Patriots of Russia” signed a manifesto on the unification of the three political forces at the end of January.
