The Israeli army says it has deliberately killed the economics minister of the Islamist terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The military announced that the air force had eliminated Abed al-Sariei on Sunday “under the instructions of military intelligence.”

According to Israel, Al-Sariei was also active in procuring weapons for Hamas. His department exchanged information with other terrorist organizations in the Middle East.
“Al-Sariei played a significant role in leading Hamas’ efforts to gain control over humanitarian aid supplies brought into the Gaza Strip,” it said. In 2006, Hamas won the last Palestinian parliamentary election.
