Britain: The right-wing riots are Starmer’s first big test

The murder of three girls in Southport, England, has sparked unrest across the country. But the riots, disguised as protests, are being controlled by right-wing extremist sources.

It all began with three little girls. They were stabbed to death in cold blood last Monday in the seaside resort of Southport, eight others and two adults were injured. A 17-year-old man stormed into a yoga studio in the city of 97,000 inhabitants north of Liverpool last Monday, where he wildly stabbed the children who were taking part in a dance class. The murderer, as much as we now know, is called Axel Rudakubana, he was born in Cardiff, Wales, and lived in a village not far from Southport. His parents are from Rwanda and are Christians, and the family was, according to the villagers, well integrated.
