What was going through your mind when you saw the result bars from Saxony and Thuringia on election Sunday?

There is an urgent need for a change in politics in Germany. Without such a change, the results in the East are the precursor to similar election results in the West. The traffic light coalition is now nothing but a pile of rubble, but it is causing more and more collateral damage to democracy. The strength of the AfD and the BSW are a product of the traffic light politics.

Sure, the traffic light chaos. But were there also substantive reasons for the election result?
