Just two months after the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump, security forces have apparently foiled another attempted attack on the Republican. The FBI assumes that a man armed with an assault rifle wanted to shoot Trump while he was playing golf at his club in West Palm Beach, Florida. Trump was unharmed and the suspect was arrested.

The former president and presidential candidate was the target of an attack in Pennsylvania in July. Secret Service employees took him out of the line of fire. Apart from a bloody ear, Trump was unharmed. Three people in the audience were seriously hit by bullets, one of whom died.
