The cost of supplying gas to the site is compensated

Participants in the social gasification program who had to pay at their own expense the costs of supplying gas to the border of their land plot will receive compensation for the costs incurred. Andrei Turchak, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, stated this in an interview with Izvestia.

“The program was announced by the president on April 21st. And we prepared the entire regulation for this program together with the government and together with Gazprom at the end of August – at the beginning of September. But from April to the end of August 2021, many families continued to supply gas to the border of the land plot at their own expense. They are all reimbursed for their expenses. This United Russia initiative was supported by the government and the management of PJSC Gazprom,” explained the Secretary of the General Council of the party.

The decision to compensate for the costs incurred for supplying gas to the sites was made at a meeting on gasification with Russian President Vladimir Putin, held on January 12.

In addition, decisions have already been made in 63 regions to subsidize the cost of supplying gas from the border of the site to the house, purchasing and connecting equipment.

“We agreed on this with the regional administrations through our factions in the regional parliaments. Somewhere these are certificates, somewhere compensation for the costs incurred for certain categories of citizens – families with many children, for pensioners living alone, for veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and so on. In each region, the list is individual,” the politician said.

According to Andrei Turchak, the potential for social gasification is about 2.5 million households. Of these, exactly half is located at a distance from the existing gas pipeline.
