The two announced this on Friday on the online service Instagram. After a series of poor election results, the entire Green Party board announced its resignation on Wednesday; a new one will be elected at the federal party conference in November.
Brantner thanked outgoing leaders Omid Nouripour and Ricarda Lang on Instagram “for their work under difficult conditions and their selfless step to clear the way for a restart of our party.” For that she “really respects” them.
