The Lufthansa Group is canceling further flights to the Middle East crisis area. Tehran and Beirut will no longer be served until well into next year, while Tel Aviv will be reviewed at shorter notice.
Due to the ongoing fighting in the Middle East, the Lufthansa Group has canceled further flights to the region. The connections to the Lebanese capital Beirut will remain suspended until February 28, 2025, as the company announced in Frankfurt for all of its companies. There will be no flights to the Iranian capital Tehran until January 31, 2025.
The day before, the company had already extended its flight stop to Tel Aviv in Israel until November 10th. The subsidiary Eurowings is not scheduled to land there until November 30th. Affected passengers can rebook for a later travel date free of charge or receive a refund of the ticket price.
