However, the trip to the Indian capital’s local transport involved a lot of effort for security reasons: security forces closed off a metro station for entry and two cars in which the two ministers and their entourage were traveling. Habeck seemed impressed by the ultra-modern train: The system in New Delhi is “more modern than some German or European metros,” he said appreciatively at the evening reception.
