As John Legend steps onto the long stage, huge cheers erupt in the basketball arena at Temple University in Philadelphia. He says that freedom is at stake in this election and that Donald Trump is “a big fraud.”
When Bruce Springsteen enters the stage, alone with his guitar, even greater cheers erupt, followed by long-drawn-out shouts of “Bruuuuuuuce.” He says this is the “most important election of his life” and that Donald Trump wants to be an “American tyrant.”
When Barack Obama takes the stage, the cheers are at their biggest. He constantly makes fun of Donald Trump and warns of more racism, sexism and tax breaks for billionaires.
