Lebanon reports more than 80 deaths in 24 hours

Almost 2,800 people have been killed in Lebanon since fighting with Hezbollah broke out more than a year ago. The number of injuries is also frightening.
According to authorities, 82 people were killed in Israeli attacks in Lebanon on Monday. The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that 180 people were also injured in the attacks in various areas of the country. Most of the victims were in attacks in the east and south of the country.
More than 12,000 injured in Lebanon
The Ministry of Health usually does not release the total number of victims until the evening of the following day.
In total, 2,792 people have been killed and 12,772 injured since fighting broke out between the Israeli military and the pro-Iranian Hezbollah in Lebanon over a year ago. The fatalities included over 500 women and 160 minors.
