Russia once again launched heavy air strikes on neighboring Ukraine during the night. The city of Kharkiv is hit hardest.
At least 25 people were injured in a nighttime Russian airstrike in a residential area of the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv. The entrance to a multi-story residential building was partially destroyed, the region’s military governor, Oleh Synjehubov, wrote on Telegram. Because of the risk of collapse, 30 residents were brought to safety during the night. Surrounding houses and vehicles as well as the entrance to a nearby subway station also suffered damage.
The Russian military has once again attacked the city with heavy guided bombs. There were also impacts in another centrally located district of the city. High-rise buildings, shops, vehicles and another subway station were damaged. However, there were no injuries in the case.
Kharkiv is not far from the Russian border and has been repeatedly shelled since the beginning of the war.
