Sometimes they are rockets, sometimes they are combat drones. The eastern Ukrainian region of Sumy is complaining of new victims from Russian attacks.
Several people were injured in a Russian drone attack on the Sumy region in eastern Ukraine early this morning. A combat drone hit a multi-story residential building in the town of Glukhiv, and several floors collapsed due to the explosion pressure, local media reported. There were deaths and injuries, it said without further details. More victims were suspected under the rubble.
Just at the weekend, twelve people were killed, including two children, when a Russian missile hit a residential building in Sumy. Over 50 people were injured.
The city and region of Sumy have recently been the target of Russian attacks with rockets, bombs, artillery and drones. The area is the supply route for Ukrainian troops who control larger areas in the western Russian Kursk region.
