A man disappears while boating in Wisconsin. Investigators assume he is dead. Until Ryan Borgwardt appears in a video, not dead at all – and completely somewhere else.
To the outside world, Ryan Borgwardt leads a normal life. The 45-year-old lives with his wife and three children in Watertown, a tranquil small town in the US state of Wisconsin. In his free time he enjoys kayaking.
Then on August 12th of this year, the phone rang at the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office. It is Borgwardt’s wife who is worried about her husband. He did not return home after a kayak tour on Green Lake. The evening before he had announced that he was on his way to the shore.
