Dieter Bohlen recently recommended himself as an advisor to the next chancellor. Soon afterwards he had the Union’s candidate for chancellor on the line. He now tells how it happened.
Union Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz has confirmed that he spoke to Dieter Bohlen on the phone – but he did not make the musician a job offer. “We didn’t talk about the cabinet, but we talked a little about music and I thanked him for finding such kind words for me,” said Merz on the ARD program “Maischberger”. Bohlen will not be his representative for culture either, said the CDU leader in response to a corresponding question: “At least that is not on the agenda at the moment.”
Bohlen, singer, music producer and juror on “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, recently recommended himself as an advisor to the next chancellor. “I would advise the next chancellor if I were asked,” he was quoted as saying by bild.de. “Elon Musk also helps Trump as an advisor. You can look at it however you want, but he can’t be completely stupid with $300 billion in his account.”
