The Russian republic of Chechnya in the North Caucasus has once again become the target of a Ukrainian drone attack, says ruler Kadyrov. And threatens Kyiv with revenge.
According to official reports, four soldiers in a barracks were slightly injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian republic of Chechnya in the North Caucasus. Republic leader Ramzan Kadyrov threatened Ukraine with revenge in his Telegram channel.
The drone was shot down and exploded in the air. The roof of the barracks was damaged and window panes were broken. A fire was also put out.
Kadyrov: Fighters are ready
“As for the fighting spirit, such attempts only strengthen our faith in victory and our desire to defeat the enemy as quickly as possible,” Kadyrov said. “A reserve of 84,000 volunteers and fighters from the Chechen Republic is ready to move to the front at the first order.” Chechen soldiers are already deployed in Ukraine.
There were also drone attacks in Chechnya at the beginning of the month and in October. Kadyrov then threatened Kyiv with revenge. Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian war of aggression for almost three years and has repeatedly targeted military targets in the neighboring country, primarily using drones.
