Israel is bombarded with rockets from Yemen almost every night. The Israeli UN ambassador issues a strong warning. It is not only aimed at the Houthis in Yemen.
According to the army, Israeli air defense intercepted another rocket fired from Yemen. In the center of the country, including the Mediterranean metropolis of Tel Aviv, air raid sirens wailed and hundreds of thousands rushed into the bunkers shortly before midnight. Initially, nothing was known about any casualties caused by rocket debris or by falls on the way to the shelters. The pro-Iranian Houthi militia, which shells Israel almost daily, did not initially comment.
Shortly before, Israel’s UN ambassador Danny Danon had warned the militia against further attacks. Then they will face the same “miserable fate” as Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah in Lebanon or the recently overthrown Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, he told a meeting of the UN Security Council in New York. He threatened Iran with further Israeli air strikes.
