Litigation judge Wolfgang Pöschl submitted his draft final report to the parliamentary management and the clubs on Friday. The document has around 870 pages and is also available to the OÖN. The chairman of the U-Committee, President of the National Council Wolfgang Sobotka (ÖVP) now has two weeks to make additions. The political groups can also write their own reports during this period.
The Pöschl report is divided into eleven chapters, which are devoted to the respective subjects of investigation. It starts with the complexes relating to filling positions at Casinos Austria and the entire gaming complex. Other sections concern the state holding company ÖBAG, Austrian Real Estate GmbH and the “Edelstein” project, ie the proposed sale of the Federal Computing Center (BRZ) to Post AG.
The draft report continues with the findings on possible hidden donations to various party-affiliated associations. This is followed by the chapter on appointments and donations, followed by the private hospital financing fund, which is why ex-FPÖ boss Heinz-Christian Strache is currently responsible as a defendant in court. The Ibiza video itself, which triggered the U-Committee, and the “shredder affair” conclude the report.
