AfD leader Alice Weidel and tech billionaire Elon Musk agreed to speak on X following his election recommendation. There are unlikely to be any major differences.
According to the AfD, AfD leader Alice Weidel and billionaire Elon Musk are expected to meet for a discussion on Musk’s Platform X on January 9th. A publicly accessible discussion in a so-called X-Space – a format for live discussions – is planned for 7 p.m. that day, Weidel’s spokesman Daniel Tapp told the German Press Agency in Berlin.
Two days later, Weidel will be officially elected as candidate for chancellor at an AfD party conference in Riesa. “The central topics will be freedom of expression and the AfD’s ideas for a sustainable Germany,” said Tapp about the planned online meeting with Musk.
