Entry into the Bundestag 40 years ago
40 years ago, the Greens achieved a vote of 5.6 percent in the federal election – and thus made it into the Bundestag almost exactly four years after they were founded. This also means the end of the three-party system in the Federal Republic, which until then consisted of the Union, SPD and FDP.
