Ukraine, which has been at war with Russia, has given its drones more combat power. It bombards targets deep in the Russian hinterland and once again hits a large oil storage facility.

According to authorities, a Russian fuel depot in the Voronezh region was set on fire by a Ukrainian drone attack. Several drones fell on the site and there were no injuries, the region’s governor, Alexander Gusev, said on Telegram. Several dozen fire engines and two railway fire engines are in use. A fuel reservoir near the town of Liski was affected.

The Russian Defense Ministry in Moscow said 27 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over the Belgorod, Voronezh, Tambov and Kursk regions during the night. This military information could not be independently verified.

In the Tambov region, the attack was on a powder factory in the town of Kuzmino-Gat, the Russian Telegram channel Shot reported. This was also confirmed by Ukrainian sources. There was no information about damage to the factory. The regional administration only said that the roof of a private house was damaged.

In its defense against the Russian invasion, Ukraine has systematically attacked military-relevant industrial facilities in Russia with drones or missiles in recent days.

The Ukrainian Air Force said it intercepted 34 of 55 incoming Russian combat drones at night. Another 18 dummy drones without explosives were put out of action by electronic defense. There was no independent confirmation of this information either.
