The small parties are gaining ground, the CDU/CSU is slipping below an important mark: a few weeks before the federal election, surveys point to a seven-party parliament.
In an Insa survey, the Union fell slightly in favor of voters and fell below the 30 percent mark. In the current “Sunday trend”, the CDU and CSU achieved 29 percent, one percentage point less compared to the previous week.
The AfD remains the second strongest force at 21 percent, despite slight losses of one percentage point.
The SPD and the Greens maintain their values from the previous week at 16 and 13 percent respectively.
The Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) and the Left gain one percentage point each and reach seven and four percent respectively. With five percent, the FDP reached the hurdle for entry into the Bundestag for the first time in four weeks.
A new Bundestag will be elected on February 23rd.
