Occupiers: Many victims after Ukrainian attack in Kherson

In the southern Ukrainian region of Kherson, the front line between Russian and Ukrainian troops has been almost unchanged since November 2022. Nevertheless, mutual fire endangers the civilian population.

According to Russian information, at least two people were killed in the occupied part of the southern Ukrainian region of Kherson as a result of a Ukrainian rocket attack. The occupation authorities said a good two dozen people were also injured in the attack on the town of Bechtery. Two rocket hits damaged a school building. The rockets used are said to have been equipped with cluster bomb warheads. Such information cannot be independently verified. The place is a good 30 kilometers south of the Russian-Ukrainian front line.

Ukraine has been resisting a Russian invasion for almost three years. Since then, parts of the Kherson region have been under Russian control. Since the withdrawal of the Russian army from the regional capital Kherson in November 2022, the Dnipro River has separated the warring parties in this region.
