Zelensky thanks Scholz in Davos for help with anti-aircraft defense
After the USA, Germany is Ukraine’s most important supporter in its fight against the Russian invasion. President Zelenskyj thanks Chancellor Scholz in Switzerland for this.
At a meeting with Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj thanked Germany for its arms support in Russia’s war of aggression. Ukraine appreciates Germany’s leadership in strengthening Ukrainian air defense and the significant contribution in protecting thousands of lives, Zelensky said on Platform X.
He spoke to Scholz at the economic forum in Davos, Switzerland, about support for Ukraine and coordinating efforts for a just peace. He didn’t give any details.
Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian war of aggression for almost three years. After the USA, Germany is considered the country’s most important supporter.
