USA pushes hundreds of migrants – Trump promised “Abermillion”
During his inauguration on Monday, Trump announced that they wanted to deport “millions and millions of” irregular migrants. He also excluded the emergency on the border with Mexico and announced the posting of other US soldiers there. The US Congress, conducted by Republicans, also approved a draft law this week to expand pre-trial detention for foreign suspects without valid residence documents.
The goal of the right -wing populist Trump already announced in the election campaign is to drastically reduce the number of estimated around eleven million immigrants without residence papers in the USA.
On Thursday, the Mayor of the City of Nark in the state of New Jersey, Ras J. Baraka, announced that officials from the US Border Protection Authority ICE had searched buildings and arrested “without a arrest warrant of residents without papers and also citizens”.
