Selenskyj denied the US military aid stop
US President Trump stops almost all aid to Washington to abroad. The Ukraine attacked by Russia, however, is not slowed down in their defense.
According to Kiev, the 90-day stop of most of the foreign aids from US President Donald Trump has no effect on arms deliveries to Ukraine. The exposed help affects humanitarian programs, said Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj. “I focused on military aid. It was not stopped,” he assured the Unian news agency.
US media, such as “Politico” and the “Wall Street Journal”, had previously reported that military aid for Israel and Egypt was excluded from the stop. There was no question of the Ukraine attacked by Russia. “Politico” made it clear that it is unclear what extent the guideline had – and whether it affects Ukraine, US military aid. However, it seems to temporarily stop funds for allies such as Ukraine, as the portal reported current and former officials from the ministry.
Since the United States has so far been the largest supporter in Ukraine, fears had arisen that Kiev, without this aid, was even more under pressure. Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian attack war for three years now.
