Donald Trumps Dekret: Stop USA Output Gender Nutral Travel Places

Due to a decre of the new President Donald Trump, no more gender -neutral passports are issued in the United States. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will no longer issue US passes with the “X” option when specifying the gender, said a ministry spokesman on Friday.

On Monday, Trump had instructed the federal authorities to recognize only the male and female gender. Even on pass passes, only these two options should be permitted in the future. According to the Foreign Ministry, the processing of all passport applications of people who are not assigned to any of the two genders was suspended. Specifications for dealing with already issued passes with the gender information “X” are to be published shortly.

The first US passport with the gender-neutral statement “X” was exhibited in October 2021 during the presidency of Trump’s predecessor Joe Biden. The US State Department has not published any figures on how often such a pass has been applied for or has been issued. In a study by the legal faculty of the University of California in Los Angeles, however, more than 16,000 applicants spoke per year.

Trump was pulled to the field in the election campaign against the “transgender madness” and had announced that he ended it in office on the first day. Immediately after taking office, he ended the federal authorities programs to promote diversity. On Friday, his government ordered the employees to be released in the diversity programs.

Trump’s approach should be challenged. In many US states, driver’s licenses can be issued with a gender-neutral “X” option. In several countries, including Australia, Canada and Germany, this option is also available for passports.
