Bundestag election, solar power, AI – what changes in February
A new Bundestag will be elected on February 23, and a change is due to owners of solar systems. You can watch fans of a popular television broadcast twice a week in the future.
On February 23, a new Bundestag will be elected after the short election campaign. If you can cheer after the election, you cannot be said for sure, but that there will be fewer parliamentarians. What changes also have the citizens in February?
The parliament is smaller due to the new right to vote – 630 seats are planned. In contrast to previous elections, the so-called overhang and equalization mandates are eliminated in the election on February 23, the second vote result is crucial for the number of seats.
Higher income for employees of the countries
The employees of the countries get more money. In the course of the linear increase, salaries increase by 5.5 percent. There are 50 euros more for trainees every month.
Insert tariff for photovoltaic systems drops
A small change has the owner of solar systems. The remuneration for solar power, which is fed into the power grid, is reduced by one percent for new systems every six months. The next cut will take place on February 1st. Owners of photovoltaic systems that are put into operation after February 1, 2025 receive a little less money if they release electricity into the network.
Short February – fewer working days
2025 is not a leap year, accordingly there is no February 29. According to the Federal Statistical Office, this is the main reason why 2025 occurs a little less working days than last year. More precisely, there are 248.1 working days in the nationwide average and therefore 0.7 less than 2024.
What is the lead year again? Because the earth takes exactly 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 46 seconds for the circulation of the sun and the calendar can only consist of whole days, the excess time has to be somehow balanced – with an additional day in February.
