Donald Trump speaks of air strike against IS terrorists in Somalia

According to US President Donald Trump, terrorists were killed in a US air strike against positions of the terrorist organization of Islamic State (IS) in Somalia. He had arranged the air strikes, Trump wrote on the platform X. In the attacks, the caves in which the IS fighters lived were destroyed and many terrorists were killed. According to Pentagon, IS fighters in the Golis mountains in the half-autonomous Puntland region in northern Somalia’s destination of the blows.

Trump spoke of a high-ranking terrorist that the US military had in mind for a long time, and a threat to the USA and its allies. If the attack was specifically true, remained unclear. The message to IS and other terrorist groups is: “We will find you and we will kill you.”

In recent years, there have been disputes between IS and the terrorist militia Al Shabaab for dominance in the region in the Golis mountains.
