Against the party line
According to the survey, AfD voters often rely on solar energy

The AfD does not think much of renewable energy, but part of its voters. Many have or plan a solar system on their house, as a survey shows.
More than half of the AfD voters have a photovoltaic system on their own home or would like to buy a representative survey by the Allensbach opinion research institute in the next five years on behalf of the Initiative Climate-Neutral Germany (IKND).
However, the AfD warehouse is significantly below the other parties, the rate is the highest rate among the Greens and voters with a home. Plan overall or have 65 percent of those surveyed a photovoltaic system:

"Our data show that the investment plans of homeowners in modern energy technologies depend relatively little on party preferences," Allensbach project manager Steffen de Sombre is cited. Rather, the focus was on financial considerations, especially when investing in photovoltaic systems. "Surprisingly, homeowners expect the expansion of private photovoltaic systems not only from the Greens, but also from the CDU," said de Sombre.
Official AfD line rather rejects "so-called" renewable energy
The survey is remarkable in this respect when the result of the party line contradicts. There is always only talk of "so -called" renewable energies with regard to wind power, hydropower or photovoltaics. The AfD parliamentary group considers the energy transition to be dogmatically ideologically shaped and calls for a course turn,
"In addition, the government should be able to delete all payments and benefits according to the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) for plants for the generation of electricity from so-called renewable energies that are new or put into operation completely and without replacement", For a corresponding application from the AfD parliamentary group from 2023.
In other words, if the claim were implemented, there would be no funding for photovoltaic systems on your own home in the future.
