Musk employee clears posts for racist postings

One of Elon Musk’s cost of the Ministry of Finance has resigned after it has been associated with racist online contributions. The 25-year-old was one of only two representatives of the Musk committee Doge with access to the central transfer system of the Ministry of Finance. Nothing became known about a replacement for him.

The “Wall Street Journal” connected a now deleted account on Twitter and the successor platform X to the 25-year-old. In one of the contributions, the author wrote that he would not get married for money outside of his ethnic group. In another, with a view to the large number of Indian employees in Silicon Valley, he called on to normalize hatred. Last July it was said there: “I was racist before it was cool.”

The spokeswoman for the White House, Karoline Leavitt, announced when asked by the newspaper to the account that the 25-year-old had resigned. He had previously worked for Musk’s space company SpaceX. According to the “New York Times”, Doge has around 40 employees so far. According to media reports, many were recruited from the environment of Musk’s companies. In addition to SpaceX, it also leads the electric car manufacturer Tesla.

Trump had commissioned tech billionaire Musk to reduce government expenditure. For this purpose, a body called Doge (Department of Government Efficiency) was formed, which is connected to the White House. So far, there has been no information about this. Musk obviously plays a key role.

The committee tries to place people in various US authorities and collect information about their expenses. In the Ministry of Finance, Doge representatives were given access to the central system, through which all possible payments are transferred.

According to a lawsuit of unions, a court decision was stated that only two representatives of Doge named may have access to the system. You are only allowed to view data – but not to change something or stop payments. After the 25-year-old’s resignation, there was initially no update of the court decision with a new name.

Meanwhile, the “Wired” magazine reported that the Doge representative, contrary to the Trump government’s assertion, had the opportunity to change software code in the transfer system of the Ministry of Finance. His access was only restricted later, it was said, citing informed people.

Meanwhile, further resistance to Musk’s activities is emerging. The New York Attorney General Letitia James and her colleagues from twelve US states announced a lawsuit against the access of Doge on the transfer system, which they describe as illegal.
