Scholz rejects Trump’s resettlement plans for Gaza
An advance by US President Trump to relocate around two million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip is international criticism. The Chancellor has now also commented.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz rejected US President Donald Trump’s advance to relocate the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. “What the President Trump put in the room finds my complete rejection. We are not allowed to move the population of Gaza to Egypt,” said the SPD politician at an election campaign event in Ludwigsburg in Baden-Württemberg.
