There are eleven constituencies in Schleswig-Holstein in the Bundestag election 2025. They extend from Flensburg-Schleswig in the north to Pinneberg on the border with Hamburg.
The Bundestag election 2025 takes place on February 23. In Schleswig-Holstein, voters have the opportunity to vote in 11 different constituencies. This overview shows you which constituency you can choose.
Usually the Bundestag election takes place every four years. This year, however, it was preferred because Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced the end of the traffic light coalition in November 2024 and asked the question of trust in parliament on December 16, 2024. This chose in February 2025.
How many constituencies are there in Germany?
Germany has a total of 299 constituencies that are structured in such a way that they enable a fair distribution of the votes. However, these limits can change every four years because they adapt to the population development and municipal area changes.
